In February 2021, Texas residents faced below freezing temperatures, rolling blackouts, and severe property damage. Thousands of homes were flooded, including student apartment homes like at the high-end Forum at Denton Station.

HEALTHCARE

Hamilton County Hospital

A significant storm, with golf ball sized hail, damaged 94,000 SF of the hospital’s buildings. Reclaim was hired to assess the damage, scope the loss, and replace all damaged items. The insurance carrier and their building consultants DENIED the hospital’s roof, wellness center and (2) 60ton HVAC package units.

Marlin Falls Hospital

Falls Community Hospital – FCHC is the main rural hospital in the City of Marlin, Texas. The hospital sustained significant storm damage to their roof system. The storm damage roof allowed water intrusion into the roof system. The entire 3rd level of the building was closed and inoperable.

COMMERCIAL ROOFING

YMCA San Angelo

In May 2020, San Angelo, Texas was the center of a 4-5” hailstorm that damaged everything in its path. The damage to the YMCA was so severe that the hail broke through the PVC roofing membrane and the insulation board beneath. As a result, the entire interior of the building was flooded due to no protection from the roofing system. This was a catastrophic loss to the building and the community.
