Supply Chain Issues

Reclaim Construction Navigates Supply Chain Issues

Since the pandemic began, Reclaim has encountered many obstacles and new requirements of doing business. Long gone are the days of securing a job and ordering material to commence construction within 30 days. For the last two years, each construction job requires planning and and negotiation to navigate the supply chain shortages and delays. Most construction companies are not accustomed to managing inventory. Construction now requires that you maintain reserves of material.

In fact some of the required components of construction are 10-14 months out from date of order. To add to that, manufacturers are on allocation basis and require the job name and address to consider initiating an order.

We felt the supply chain tightening at the beginning of 2020 and made quick moves to amass inventory of PolyIso and other roofing components that we need to complete our backlog of projects.  -Jason Hyland, President of Reclaim Construction

We are proud to say that Reclaim has met all job start dates without delay. We contribute this achievement to our foresight of the situation, a little luck and an amazing team of professionals at the company.

If you are having trouble getting your new roof or re roof project going, reach out to us and we would be delighted to help.
